Out and About...

I was pleasantly surprised to receive my hair sporran from Josh this morning.

So I donned my new custom weave Clanranald kilt and my old cut down German uniform and hit the town to make some deliveries to the Post office.

I got a few comments today, one lady at the P.O. was incredulous that I actually made most of everything I was wearing.

No pictures while out, but here's one when I got back.

I like what you did with the cutdown German jacket.
What's the story on it? The colour is not what I'm use to (but I really like it!).

I bought an old un-issued East German dress uniform. (I think I paid $15 for it)

I dyed it with black Rit dye and it came out a nice dark grey colour.

I also cut it short and removed the lower pockets.
