March 11/12 meetup

My living history group, the Renaissance Scots Living History Association, is taking part in the parade for the first time ever. We will be in Colorado Springs on the 11th for the St Patrick's Day parade if anyone there wants to get together!

Well, there is a place along the parade route called Jack Quinn Irish Alehouse and Pub:

The Ren Scots are planning on gathering there after our stint in the parade is over, so that's a good possibility. We're always looking for new friends!

I WAS gonna buy a round. But, it looks to turning into a pretty big crowd - and Mr "single malt" over there is sounding pretty expensive. I'm good for a pitcher or two. But, you whiskey fellas might be on your own. (hint: that's why they invented flasks)

Yeah, I doubt they'll have my 15 year Highland Park... or Abelor... or Ardbeg... or... Wait... Am I starting to sound like a whiskey snob?

On a serious note... If you buy a round, I will join you all for a toast. I may prefer a fine whiskey, but I ain't above joining my friends for a round.
