Hello from North Texas
Like my fellow newcomer Willie, I am a kiltwearer who does blacksmithing as a hobby (although I am brand new to it).
I am adopted an have no idea if I am Scottish, Irish or anything else. I just know that I have always had a fascination with Celtic history and mythology. Celtic music delights me. So I had a lot of curiosity about kilts.
Got my first kilt in 2002, a Utilikilt. Got a traditional kilt in 2005 and I love it.
Am planning a trip to Scotland this September and thinking of getting a kilt and outfit while there. That prompted me to join the board, so I could pick the brains of those wiser and more experienced than I about where to go.
