    Heritage of Ireland in Kentucky

Went to check out the flooding Ohio River Sunday. Behind me is the ferry boat "Jenny Lynn". I wore my Heritage of Ireland for the day.
The water has started to recide and hopefully not much damage.

Augusta is a beautiful town. I will be driving through there in a few hours. I had not seen the Augusta Ferry in a long long time. That was always a charming part of that City.

The flooding this year has been bad but not nearly as bad as some of the years. I think we are on the back end of it now.

Maybe the Ohio River thinks you are a Leprechaun in your kilt. I like the tartan. I've got the 'Heritage of Wales'
How do you get your photo to appear straight away ?? I'm still trying

As for the picture, just beginners luck I guess. The water is now going back down where it belongs. I had a good day that day and had a few photos taken by people on the street and even one lady took video down at the boat dock. This picture shows the boat dock parking lot and the top of a small shelter house where I normally would put my kayak in the water.

All looks very picturesque, you gazing out over the lake... That is until you notice the roof sticking up out of the middle of it. Cracking picture. Like your hat too.
