Rare privilege and honor
I recently had a fantastic opportunity to attend Elsie Stuehmeyer's kilt workshop this past week here in Utah.
What an absolute wealth of information!
She is such a sweetheart, an all knowing and all seeing taskmaster, memory sharper than any needle and can tell some hilarious stories about her lengthy career as a kilt-maker.
My most memorable anecdote from the class is when she grabbed my kilt and placed it in her lap to show me a secret of her kilts. "Ugh, you know Jarred when you are finished wearing this kilt, you could sell it as a clan tent."
Yes I know pics or it didn't happen, they are on their way.

I read about the event when it was too late for me to order some tartan. When and if she comes back, though, I'll be ready; especially with your review of the workshop!
