I've found a company here in the UK with a bit of a sale/deal on Argyle hose in some colour ways at a reduced price http://houseoftartan.co.uk/products/clanhose.htm They had medium size in the following 540 541 542 543 1562 548 £56 for the first pair then £30 there after or three for £30 each plus vat and postage, May be worth an email to see if they'll ship over the pond

No mate theres no link, I emailed them with a size and colour request and that was the offer back. It's worth a try
here are two pairs i ordered recon they come up a tad short in the leg mind, as a medium they fit my foot a UK 10 ok BUT for some of you with the stumpy leg syndrome Bingo!

I've measured both pairs and the red pair from heal to top are 15 1/2 inch 1/2 inch longer than the green pair, Worth noting if you have problems with standard kilt hose being too long! these are the last few they don't have any larger sizes the quality's good too.
