I've just completed my first TANK!! Thanks so mush to Barb T. and Elsie S. for their awesome details in "The Art of Kiltmaking". I set in the car for a bit and the pleats look a little mess, but they looked great right after pressing. Not sure what my next project will be...
mj_all: I like it! Thanks for the pics. What tartan is it? Wish I had the skill and wherewithal to make my own kilt. Congratulations. Others more knowledgeable than me can tell you how to straighten those pesky pleats. I worry about that all the time.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.
Nice one! You have considerably more skill than me.
Cool.......good job dude!!!!!

I think it is a wool blend, because it has a fleecy feel. Thanks for the Praise!! -Mike
Nice job! That's a heck of a kilt. I beg you, get some colored hose

Congratulations on taking the plunge and making your own kilt. I am very envious that you have the skills to do so. Wear it in good health. Cheers
Shoot straight you bastards. Don't make a mess of it. Harry (Breaker) Harbord Morant - Bushveldt Carbineers
