PA RenFair Oct 15-16

Anybody else going to the PA Ren Fair Oct 15-16th? Michele and I are going, and I'm bringing my nephew (his first time kilted!) and my brother and his wife. His first time kilted as well, if he doesn't chicken out. Albannach is playing that weekend, which is why we chose it.

Me and family might be there that weekend. Not a big fan of Albannach (the songs kind of run together after a while) but my son loves the Human Chess and joust. As it gets closer I'll let you know. We'll try to make your nephew feel comfortable whilst kilted.

We will be in western PA prior to the weekend, and we plan on driving east to be at the Ren Fair on Saturday. We used to live about an hour east of the Ren Fair site, and we were surprised at how much it has grown in the 20 years or so since we were there. Albannach is the attraction for us, too, though the chance to meet up with some PA friends was also a consideration. I wasn't going to pack a kilt, but maybe I will.

He's not a kid, he's in his mid-twenties, and really looking forward to the Power of the Kilt.
