Kiltsnmore
Hi, I am new to this forum. However, I played in a Pipe band and wore a kilt supplied by them .The band included several Scottish people including a former Black Watch member. My first experience with a kilt was kinda funny. I was handed the kilt with no instruction for wearing it. I walked through a crowded room at the Burns Supper to get to the room we were warming up in. Just as we were getting ready to go out and play somebody noticed my kilt was on backwards. Luckily that is easily fixed but I will never forget it.
Anyway, I noticed a post awhile back asking about a Kiltmaker called Kiltsnmore. That prompted me to join the forum to warn people not to buy anything form them. I ordered two kilts from them and never recieved them.
I had seen them (kiltsnmore) at Highland games for years and thought they were a vendor I could trust. I was looking for a Welsh tartan and was so excited that they could help me that I got measured and actually made a payment. Everything seemed to be going well till I made the final payment.Suddenly my emails weren't being answered and their phone number was no good. I have contacted the highland games where I saw them last and was told that I was not alone in my situation. They have an F rating from BBB.
If anybody knows of their whereabouts I would love to know.
The maker I refer to was located in Columbia Illinois and may have relocated to Florida.I was hoping to save someone else a costly mistake like mine and the thread was closed that asked if anyone had dealt with them.
