How your dog can sport the family tartan

I think the idea of a kilt for a dog is ridiculous and makes a joke of this fine Scottish garment. However my talented wife, The Flame-Haired Celtic Amazon Goddess (i.e. Star), with a bit of help from Sport Kilt created a tartan cape for our puppy Miss Angelina Niffles so the littlest member of our family could wear the family colors.

Here she is in all her Loud Mcleod glory

Miss Niffles may be small (9 lbs) but it has been noted at our local dog park she is feisty and has a "big dog's spirit!" She'd make a good Scot I'd think

    Cheers

Jamie, another fine looking member of the family. The cape looks very well made and I definitely like the tartan cut on the bias.

What a cutie! The cape looks very nicely made, and she looks quite content in it.

What a cute little dog! and nice job on the cape ... I like how it tapers back on top with the rampant lion logo there

That is very cute Jamie. As you I don't really like the dog kilt things, but I have often thought of something in tartan for my dog. I have a Short Haired German Pointer and maybe a bodywarmer in waterproof tartan fabric could be something for him.

There is a merchant at The Meadows games who sells dog collars in most tartans. I think it is called "The Heelin Hound" They have a website, unless my memory fails me.
