Argyll Hose the great hunt the end is in sight!

Well after what seems to have taken for ever I'm now in possession of not one but two pairs one pair hand knitted the other from Kenneth Short in Scotland
First the hand knit with wool from the Shetlands

Now a compare with the Factory made

I really like the hand knit the colours and feel of the hose is just soooo much nicer

    And with the kilt

and as it was just toooooo good a fotie opportunity so here's me with my new kilt jacket and new old pipes a set of 80ish year old Robertsons

    Looks great!
(I was wondering what the heck was sticking out of your left hosetop, when I realized it was the heater control. ;)

Awesome, you look so Scottish! Absolutely a wonderful outfit.
Scotland is only 1/5 the size of Montana, but Scotland has over 3,000 castles and Montana has none.

Those look sensational! - as does your entire outfit - nicely balanced. Love the use of purple - very regal. Very handsome indeed. Congratulations!
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Both pair look nice, but the hand-knitted ones look wonderful! A nice find!

Those hand knit hose do look very nice. Good job! I think they are an especially nice compliment to your Isle of Skye kilt, which I believe to be Harris Tweed, from the looks of it in the photos. Correct?
