Son's High School Senior Pics
Our son CGR, had his Senior yearbook photo shoot today. It will take a week before we get to see the proofs, but here's the general idea of what he wore to the shoot. His new jacket, waistcoat, kilt and stick. In some he wore dress shoes with the hose up and with garters, and in some, his chucks with hose pushed down as he is here. My Scot/Irish pimp. Traditionalists beware.
Straight on

Obligatory pleat shot

BTW, these are at home after the formal shoot, which took 2 hours outside where the temp today was 107 F. Tough kid

The hat certainly gives a very different look to a kilt outfit but at least he has white legs like a true Scotsman
I think with less loose hose, he'd get away with the chucks too

Agreed. Aside from the hose, the rest of the ensemble works for me.

His hose weren't actually loose. When he switched from traditional shoes to Chucks, he removed the garters and folded down the hose. Not sure if the heat lead to it, but I liked the way it looked with the Chucks better myself.

I have heard of the extremely hot temps in my hometown of St. Louis, Mickey! I just spoke with my dad (my family lives in Chesterfield) the other night, and he funnily mentioned that it has been pure misery there! Don't get me wrong, it has been hot here in Cincinnati too, but not 100+ F!!! Brave lad you have there, and looking good too!
Cheers,

Good on him...kids that age are usually so desperate to fit in. It's nice to see he has the courage to stand out. I like the look. Congratulations!!
