    first xkilt

    finished my first xkilt. pretty happy with the results and ready to tackle another one now that I have some experience.

    too late. I ordered another tartan a few days ago, and I bought fabric to make the 2nd xkilt.

    Yes, the x-kilts are addictive, well, then so are all kilts. I am almost done with my second x-kilt, and have #3 and #4 planned. Enjoy, looks like you did a great job.

    Thank you Alan for all your work with the directions. I love the kilt, and you're right, it wasn't so bad. each step of the way I read, and re-read the directions, I'd talk to myself about the work involved, and I'd dig in thinking that this was the "tough part". Ha! none of it was "tough" although some parts were tedious. can't wait to get started on the next one.

    Looking good. At some point if I have a slow weekend I might have to hijack the girlfriend's sewing machine and give an xkilt a go for grins.
