    The Battle of Brunanburh...

    ...in leather! I took this design from a medieval stone carving (which I'm sure that many of you will recognise right away). I'm not sure what this will end up being. It has a lot of work left to do but it's a good start.

    Thanks, mate. I don't really do sporrans. I'm more of a belt newbie but I am so tempted. I've always loved the original stone carving and just had to tool it into something. Perhaps a sporran it shall be, though certainly something simple and casual daywear. Too bad gorgets haven't been in vogue for a couple of centuries. Lol.



    A couple of days ago I did some fiddling around with it before taking a trip out of town. I played with some antique dye, too. I think I need to adjust the 'batwings' at the bottom.
