Clan MacCallum - Malcolm Society Website Update.

My Clan Society, MacCallum - Malcolm did a marvelous job in updating our webpage. We have the distinction of being the only hypenated Clan!

Now if we can just get more of the men kilted! None in the society can say they have seen me in pants since 2003! And then I was rowing a curragh along the Scottish coast from Ireland.

Click St. Columba Voyage in my signature. Our clan believes our ancestors were part of the Irish Gael settlement in the Argyll. Our clan's chief lands surround Dunadd where the Dal Riata Kingdom fort was. My DNA haplotype is most predominate today, in Donegal county and has a swath across norther Ireland to the Argyll ending in Sterlingshire.

Mael: Very nice web pages. What handsome groups of MacCallums! One thing stands out - those great smiles. I even saw you in a couple of those pictures.

I can't make you out in the curragh, though. If I ever have to do that, I want to be the guy in the bow saying things like, "A little more to port mateys".

I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

I'll be the starboard (right side) second from the bow (front) rower.

I thought that might be you, but I couldn't tell if you had long hair or a capuchin on your shoulder - pirate style.

Are you wearing the blue coat and dark cap, Ern?

Very cool photo! I would love to do something like this.
