Our little town of about 6,000 has at least 150 cancer survivors. I'm one of them and they do it up big for us at the Relay for Life. This year it was a boat trip up lake to Antelope Canyon then down to the backside of the dam followed by an elegant lunch buffet at the Rainbow Room at Lake Powell Lodge. Then the Relay for Life at night at the high school football field.
Wore my blue RKilt leather for the boat trip, then switched to my USA Kilts Isle of Skye casual for the Relay. Didn't get any pics of the later though. Here are a few pics from the boat trip.
They run this big tour boat up the narrow canyon then turn it around somehow and come back out...
Here's the lake side of the dam (Glen Canyon Dam on the Colorado River).
Took this pic on the first lap of the relay - the Survivor's Lap. Our t-shirts said "I Am Hope" this year. That's the truth for sure.
And, the RKilt blue leather cargo I wore for the trip uplake.
