Show Us Your Memorial Day 2013 Pics
Every year the VFW in our little town has a Memorial Day ceremony in the local cemetery. Good turnout - about 100 of us.
Wore the Marine Dress Blue tartan kilt in honor of my late little brother Rory Macdonald who did 12 years in the USMC. Was a Drill Instructor.

And the pleats

VFW guy recited his families long history of military service and realized my ancestors have been in the thick of it since the Revolution. We only missed the Spanish American and Korean wars. Now, the women of the family are serving too!

"I'll have a kilt please, a nice hand sewn tartan, 16 ounce Strome. Oh, and a sporran on the side, with a strap please."
