Hello Allen. Yes, Chris and I will be there. Coming down Friday and camping. The organizers have put the COSCA/STA tent in a much poorer position than last year. I'll have to try and get the powers that be to put us back where we were. See you there!

The Games are this Saturday. The Parade of Tartans is around 11:00 AM. If you attend, come by the Clan Sinclair tent after that, and we will get an XMARKS meet-up photo.

New member here...

We will be in attendance. Clan MacLaine of Lochbuie, should be about 8 of us there if my sister brings her twins. :P

I have been the past two years.

My dad has been manning a tent since the beginning of SCHG, apparently I am now an apprentice.

Looking forward to it.

Edit: Forgot to add... we are hauling our small travel trailer down on Friday. It is going to be a lounge and refuge for the younger and older family members. My bride and I will be camping in it on Friday night... assuming I make it back from the Scotch tasting and Reception.

Hope you all can make it to Stone Mountain as Clan Maclaine of Lochbuie is the honored clan this year. Chief Lorne Ian Maclaine will be there as will many of our great clan cousins.

Allen and Nan's hospitality was, as always, unsurpassed. It was a great time!

Back in 2005/6 I attended the Flora MacDonald Highland Games. Are the Scotland County Highland Games related?

When the Flora MacDonald games folded, the Scotland County games stated up. Sort of a successor, I guess.

And Flora MacDonald used to live in Fayetteville, back when it was Cross Creek.
