Cheap garter & flashes.
Measured as price per set of flashes, these are the cheapest I've bought:

Top tip: when you're on ebay UK and looking for hose then try a search for "shooting socks" or "breeks socks" and a whole new world of colourful hoisery will be revealed to you. I have to thank Jock Scot for bringing my attention to shooting socks in a post he made a while back.

They have those on ebay.com as well. http://www.ebay.com/itm/281176430970...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT However, the shipping to get them to the States is just about as much as the cost of the flashes. I usually make mine from ribbon, pieces of wool, or tartan that matches the kilt (if I made the kilt, that is). Though it is tempting to buy those anyway.
