I am new to both this forum and the kilt. Although I'm not of Scottish descent, I am interested in getting involved in Highland Games, and am hoping to find others here who share that interest.

Welcome, Sean, from an HBHS alumnus! The Costa Mesa Games are coming up on Memorial Day weekend, then a bit farther south of you are the games in Vista in June.

I'm nearby in Tustin. We have our big Games coming up, Memorial Day weekend, at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa. Hope to see you there!

I play in the Long Beach Fire Department Pipe Band, you'll see us around.

And we're playing up and down 2nd Street in Long Beach (a big block party, more or less) on the Saturday and Sunday before St Patrick's Day, and on St Patrick's Day itself, 3pm-9pm I think.
