Stumbled across this site while looking up tartan patterns. I am a Plastic Paddy who THINKS I descended from the Connelly/Conneleigh clan of NE Ireland in county Armagh, that I THINK settled in KY when some came to America. I have been a reader for about 10 years of the Diana Gabaldon series. This has sparked a huge interest in European histoy for me. (No expert by any means) I am here to learn. I immensely enjoyed the clothing discussion Terry joined in. I have attended several Outlander related events, the Dublin Irish Festival, and I am marching in the 2015 Tartan Day Parade in NYC this Saturday. Def a newb but willing to be a knowledge sponge.
