    For The Olde Guys

At 70 I'm with the guys pillmakers advertise to on TV about reducing trips to the men's room. My urologist learned the new UroLift surgery (you can google it) and I had that surgery yesterday. So far a great success. For sure I'm in the recovery period but my big worry - pain - has not happened.

Might be a consideration for other gents who've not heard of it yet.

I forget my age until I read threads like this one. Pertaining to kilts, the problem of unexpected leaking has been covered in other threads with clothing options (liners and under garments) and good solutions are offered. This may be the better permanent solution for many of us.
I did "google" many sites, including the manufacturer. I offer a photo of the device that is implanted. It looks like the plastic connector that binds a label to clothes. I am impressed with the simplicity of the idea and lack of intrusion to body area where it is applied. I imagine it works like a pipe hanger required over an extended distance to support and eliminate "sagging". I will offer this to my friends for consideration.

Two weeks post op and I'm lovin' it. Expected healing time but right on track....much better lifestyle now. Happy to answer any specific questions - PM if it might cross any lines with the guidelines.
