Hello from Michigan
I was fortunate enough to spend some time doing an ancestry review and found I have family roots in both Wales and Scotland. My family tartans are the Pritchard (Welsh) and Ogilvie (Scott). I attended a Highland festival here in Michigan and purchased my first Kilt. I am still trying to determine if my office policy prohibits the wearing of a kilt. (I work for the state government).
I am a retired firefighter and now coordinate fire fighter training for the state. I enjoy all things celtic and especially love the pomp and circumstance of a good drum and pipe corps.
I have been married to my best friend for almost 20 years and we have 4 children, 4 cats, 2 dogs, 2 ducks, 1 goose, and 6 chickens.
I look forward to watching the forums and interacting with everyone.

As a retired firefighter, you might also be interested in the Firefighter's Memorial Tartan.
