St. Baldrick's post-shave.
The St. Baldrick's Foundation raises money for childhood cancer research with head shaving events across the USA. I participated in the event held at the Fado Irish Pub in Annapolis, Maryland on March 12th. I'm pictured (post-shave) wearing my Ulster Red. The gentleman with me is Scott MacMullen, Annapolis attorney and the benefactor of the Guinness in my hand. I personally raised $170 USD for the cause.
"Don't give up what you want most for what you want now."
Just my 2¢ worth.

Good job! I used to let my hair grow long and then donate it to Locks Of Love but, while I wear my hair short these days, I don't know that I'm brave enough to go the shave pate route. It's getting thinner and I'm afraid it might not come back!

very nice. Last year (when his hair was much longer) my 18 year old son donated a foot of his hair to locks of love. He has a bet on right now for a strongman competition this coming Saturday that if he loses he will shave his head. I guess he can do what you did if he loses and make it a positive event. Even if he wins (what I hope happens) he could still do it. I'll have to tell him about it

I hope this works
I hope this works...here is the link to my Facebook page where we live streamed it for the people who contributed to St. Baldricks for me. Fado's is an Irish pub in Annapolis and they hosted it again this year.
