Kilting canvas ~free to a good DIYer home
While cleaning out stuff so that I can have better home office space until the college opens back up again, I ran across some canvas that I used to use for making kilts. I would love to give it away to a few DIYers who need some. It's not quite as heavy as the canvas I'm using now that I get from B Black and Sons (and I just bought a new bolt from them, so I am totally awash in canvas), but it certainly works fine for kiltmaking. Here's what I have:
1 5-yard piece (enough for 5 kilts) Still available, or I'm happy to split it.
2 2-yard pieces (enough for 2 kilts each piece) Both are enjoying new homes.
I'd like to spread it around, so I'd rather give the 3 pieces to different people, rather than send it all to one person. If you are interested, PM me - if you pay shipping, I'll mail it to you. I can get a two-yard piece into a flat rate envelope ($8 shipping); the 5-yard piece would have to go into a medium flat-rate box for $15.

It's the canvas interfacing that is used as stiffening inside the kilt (commonly called "hair canvas"). It's a typical grayish color. But you couldn't use it for an actual garment (i.e., the fabric that shows on the outside).
