Guys aren't the only ones...
to get asked "The Question"
At the Jackson Hole Games I came out of the bathroom after changing my daughter's nappy and there was a lady coming toward me with her two girls approximately ages 7 and 4.
Before I passed her she asked (rather loudly) "So what do GIRLS wear under their kilt-thingies?"
I replied that I had on a white knee-length dress under my kilt and corset.
She said, "Oh...Oh yah...that's pretty. Can I see the bottom?" (apparently she didn't believe me) So I showed her the bottom of my chemise and told her I needed to get back.

Strange she asked that.. I am amazed that so many really want to know what's under a kilt.

I hear so many stories like this in the US. Does this happen elsewhere? I hear it never happens in Scotland. Makes me want to move.

That still seems... just short of the answer to the Real Question, somehow.
But what nerve people have, anyway.

I actually think it's funny when I get asked. So how was the festival, Squeeky? I was pretty sad to have to miss it. The rest of my lads had a great time, though, from what I've heard.

I thought it was kind of funny...but kind of weird that a woman would ask me. Maybe the men around knew better than to ask a woman what's under her skirt.
The festival was fun. I asked the Ren Scots if they knew you and they were pleased that I knew of them already. I think it was the guy playing the leader of the group that said, "Travis...what kind of stories can I make up about Travis..."

That would be Curtis! I should have told you to ask him about Dr. Dave's hot tub. At our fortnight party this year, he told Dave to spread that word that the hot tub was ready. We all filed outside to get in, and there was Curt already in the hot tub, stark nekkid wearing nothing but but his bonnet, grinning like the cat who ate the canary.

Oh, I run around all the time and ask women whether they're wearing underwear or not.

Yup, it happens in Scotland as well, people just love to talk to a kilt wearer and i believe the question is a sort of introduction

That is strange that she wanted to see.
