Scotland in Broom...errr, bloom??
Here are a couple of images that were taken of the Ochils, up near Tillicoultry, a couple of days back.

The broom is blooming in what appears to be a representation of the outline of the UK.
This must be a significant spot, for last year there was an outline of Elvis on this same hill. If you look closely, to the right of the broom, you can still see a faint Elvis outline.

Yes, the Britain pattern is uncanny - though I couldn't make out Elvis in your pic. Plenty of broom in bloom right now - I took this shot at the Tanfield Railway last Saturday. There are two very similar plants - the one without the spines, broom, flowers in May and June while the one with the prickly spines is sometimes referred to as broom though often known as gorse and flowers year round. There is a saying in Scotland that Kissing is out o' season when the gorse is out o' bloom.

It's really very faint. I had to adjust the colors to see it. Check out this color-enhanced photo.

LOL - That's pretty good, Rex. Seriously though, I'm afraid this is the last season for the foliage in that location. Turns out Jimmy Hoffa is burried just to left of the Elvis outline. Sadly, when they dig him up they'll obliterate all traces of the yetti cave, too.
Thank you,

Yeah, I do see it too. I can't quite make out the label on the Scotch bottle though. Can you tell?

I don't know but could that be a Velvet Elvis?

Yes, Rex, that certainly is a colour enhanced Elvis - all he needs are his blue suede shoes to match the blue border on his jacket!
