    Albannach at Kingshouse - 29 December 2005

There was a commemoration honoring the life of Robert 'Rob Roy' MacGregor, earlier in the day, but it was cold outside. We marched right back to the Kings House Hotel and got ready for Albannach to lift the roof off the house.

The sharp, pointy things came out that night, as well. And yes, David Ross was involved again.

There's a story behind this one. Donnie and Kyle were over on Jacquie's right, doing a good job of distracting her. She kept turning away from them, but they kept moving back into her line of vision. You can see Jamesie in the background and he was plotting. He grabbed that chair next to him, moved it right out in front of Jacquie and proved to her that he's a 'true Scot'!

Jacquie was likely scarred for life, but Jamesie was getting a hoot from it.

If you head NW from Stirling, following the A84 up through Doune, Callander and Strathyre, Kingshouse is just north of Strathyre. We mustered there for the march to Rob Roy's grave at Balquhidder.

Here's the Kings House Hotel -

And the snow that came in that night (and closed the A84 at Doune!!!)
