In the interest of Science and the members here at X Marks I am prepared to under take, with my good lady Elaine, a tour of the old and historic pubs in South Wales, over the next coming months. I would take pictures of the outside and inside and give a little info on them. Before we commence on this perilous journey it would be good to know if anyone here at X Marks would be interested in this sort of thing. Its a pity Rob (Lincs) lives so far away as I guess he would be willing to join us. Also, since there might be a Cilt tale to tell at some of these, where would the best place for this to be .. here in the pic's section or over at the Pub.
Came up with this idea while at The Cefn Mably at the weekend .. a lovely country inn dating back to the 1700's. All thats in the village where it is are about 6 houses, the church and the pub.
