    German kilt?

My German is not the best there is but tumbled upon this website. Wondering do they have kilts of their own? Looks kinda wicked and not kilt like to me... :P And the Black Watch surely doesnt look like one...

The Germans I've seen wearing kilts belonged to Scottish Clubs or Scottish Dancing Groups and the kilts I've seen have looked to be good quality and not at all like the ones on that site.

My own German is limited to one phrase:

"Gib mir schokolade und niemand wird verletzt."

The "kilts" pictured on that page make the Museum Replicas "kilts" look rather spiffy.

    Hi,

Though not quite as handy as a flask, the Trinkhorner sure looks impressive. Wonder if P1M has seen them, yet.

In theory there is no difference between theory and practice but in practice there is.

It just looks like a longer version of the plaid miniskirt -- with a matching sporran.
