So, before I became addicted to kilts I had foot problems that Z Coil shoes solved well www.zcoil.com for the curious. They worked and I was back in regular shoes by the time I was into full time kilting. Did wear Z Coil hiking boots with kilts back in the begining.

Since, I've pretty much thought they were a bit too much to wear with kilts - even though GMan and I have done it. I just quit.

Well, last week my feet started hurting with a vengence again...this time that random electric shock nerve stuff, worse at night. Went a few days with little sleep last weekend.

Decided, what the heck, my comfort was more important - but I sure worried that kilts with Z Coils would get me teased and many curious questions.

So yesterday I wore Z Coils with my Ireland's National semi-traditional kilt from USA Kilts. No one said a thing other than one client complimented the tartan.

Today I wore Z Coils with my weathered Gordon from Celtic Croft and again, other than a coworker's compliment for the weathered Gordon tartan no one said a thing, until the end of group tonight when a client asked sincerely about the Z Coils, wanting to know if they might help his foot pain.

So, after all that fear and all that worry I've worked 21 hours in two days, seen 34 clients individually and in group, hung around over 40 coworkers, and done my chores around town wearing a kilt and Z Coil shoes at the same time and no one teased me. Go figure.

The worst things I ever imagined never actually happened.

Here's a pic from my office tonight.
