Short walk around a local Country Parc

I got asked by Elaine , my mother and Hils .. could I take them to a Country Park/Parc just north of the city. They were unsure of the bus routes etc on how to get there, even though its practically on our doorstep!. They offered me a pub lunch if I did so. So I agreed, provided it could be a pub of my choice .
    So off we went.
We all met up just after Wetherspoons had opened and had a lovely Coffee and toast.

    Then we went off.
Not long after we entered the Country Parc we met this little fella

We then went on our way again. The parc is known for its vast collection of trees it has .. I don't know one tree from another unfortunately

There were loads of Carp in this pond

Derek - you are going to have to stop posting pub photos. They make me too nostalgic and bring back many memories of the times I have lived in the UK.

Love the photos although that carp pond looked a bit grey. How do you manage to get every road leading to a pub? Tell us your secret please!

Phil ... your correct, the pond was very murky, yet the carp were there as well as quite a few large goldfish. I would'nt like to live in it.
Do you ever get down this way Phil .. if you do, we must meet up and we'll show you a few off the beaten tracks that lead to fab little off the beaten tracks watering holes.
