How to be Spoiled at Christmas

How does a wife spoil her husband at Christmas? Well, first she secretly contacts a renowned kiltmaker and requests that he fashion a suitable garment with some fabric that he is holding for said husband.

She then orders a custom tailored shirt because she wants her man "STYLIN'"!

Not only that but there is a second shirt under construction!

And what would a kilt be without a rare and treasured kilt pin?

No outfit would look complete without custom flashes with the new owners trademark.

And even the lovely daughter contributed with a beautiful presentation set of accessories.

Gentlemen, I count myself among the truly blessed whose wife not only supports the habit but FEEDS THE ADDICTION.

And how better to break in the new kilt than to return to the kiltmaker and assist in celebrating his natal anniversary. First, find a suitable beverage establishment.

Call up a friend to join you ......

add in some good food, good drink, great conversation and there you go, a happy birthday for the curmudgeonly old kiltmaker.

    Jackpot!

You made out like a bandit for Christmas.

Glad to see Steve celebrated his birthday in good company.

Is he still drinking coffee that late?

Jeepers I always call it quits by 4:45 (but then again cocktail hour starts at 5:00 )

    Cheers

The tartan is the same as James MacMillan's Chattan #6(?). He had a 29 syllable name for it. I call it Fraser and Kirkbright Fashion Grey or BIG GUY BEAUTY!

Way to go Mikey! I sure love my kilt in that tartan too.

And just so you know, I named my kilt the Catanach #6, because it was the 6th kilt that Wally Catanach made.

The tartan I named “Light Grey Leatherneck Urban Warfare tartan number 16.”

But as you know, it's a fashion tartan and has no name, so we can call it what we want.

Now we know that there are at least two of them out there!
