    My First Kilt

I finally got my first kilt, a SWK standard saffron. My wife and I went to a gathering where I got my first chance to be kilted in public. I was a little nervous at first. There were at least a dozen other men in kilts so it took me about two seconds to calm down. Given how many men were in kilts I didn't stound out, which was actually kind of refreshing.

I did get several comments. The bouncer said "Dude, you got a hot wife, and a kilt, I'm so jealous! How about I wrestle you for the kilt?"

One of the other kilted men said how much he liked it, and a woman said "I love men in kilts as she stared at me while she walked by".

All in all a very pleasant first time. I think I'm hooked.

I didn't wear the black belt or black sporran I purchased because I'm not satisfied with the quality. I think my fanny pack made a nice substitute though.

Hmmm, I can't seem to get the picture to load even following the directions.
I put "http://www.pbase.com/quinn23/image/101465874/IMG_7173.JPG" inside the IMG specifier and nothing seems to happen.

    Any help??

I tired to fix the code however I was unable to fix it. I think the best thing to do would be to go to www.photobucket.com and sign up for an account it's free and it works on this site

The original link is not to the actual picture, it's to a placeholder page generated with the jpc extension.

    Here's the actual picture.

Looks good. I just recently got an SWK heavyweight saffron which I wore for the first time to church this morning. Good reaction, except the one person who said, "I thought a kilt had to be plaid!"

Lots of kilts in Tucson??? HoooRaaah!

Headed down there for a week of conferences at Loew's Ventana Canyon at the end of the month. Go kilted every year...only way to comfortably endure hours of being seated.

And a sharp look with your first kilt.
