    Election Day in Canada

Today is election day in Canada, I went out to vote this morning and decided the perfect tartan to wear would be the Maple Leaf tartan. Funny thing was the guy behind the table who was an orrthodox jew and was wearing his yamulca says "You do know we're not in Scotland" to which I replied, that is why I'm wearing the Canadian tartan, I really thought they would be a bit more culturally aware behind the polling tables, ah well that is just the type of thing that happens wearing a kilt. Anyway the outfit for today was the Maple Leaf tartan kilt by Canadian Casual Kilts the Brown Harris Tweed Argyle, my tie is a tweed tie I found at Caringorm Scottish Imports, the sporran is from Thorfinn Sporrans withthe matching Maple Leaf flap, and the hose are Yellow/Gold Hawick Hose that I picked up at Cairngorm as well.

You look very good as always McMurdo. And the Maple Leaf is such a nice tartan.
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

I agree! You always look excellent. That tartan IS gorgeous, too. Makes me wish I had ties to Canada, but alas.... I can always enjoy looking at it when others post photos, at least

You look splendid as always. I still can't get over the fact though that the gentleman in his "special attire" had the nerve to make any comment other than a welcome to the polls and compliment you on how good you look. Again you look fantastic. You are a well put together lad.

As always you look very nicely dressed. I am surprised by the comment you got, though. Not very polite at all.

I voted in the early voting last week. I was coming out of the gym so I didn't look nearly as sharp as you do Glen, but my gym shorts and under Armour tank top looked pretty good

    Get out and vote people!

I really love that Maple Leaf tartan. In fact, I think it's my favorite tartan from a purely aesthetic standpoint.
