They all think that I'm mad...well, they do for many reasons but this is one of them...but I with you fellers; I love winter. Somehow winter just seems to cleanse the world. Snow still looks beautiful to me whether I have to shovel it or not.

I'm looking forward to that Solstice...the days get shorter and then the magic happens and they start to get longer again...the hope returns...very reassuring.

Same as we had last weekend down here in the Springs and again on Thursday. It all melted in between and again since the last one. Nighthawk, you should have seen it between Castle Rock and here Sunday. I25 was a bumper to bumper parking lot moving at about 5 mph. Snow was 18" at Monument Hill and 21+ in Black Forest That 30 min drive took us over 2 and a half hours
