New Kilt (And My little sister)
The new Kilt that I bought from Squeaky McMurdo came in the mail. After school (and shopping) I got to try it on. Also, while we were out, we got my 9-year-old sister a pleated skirt in the same (albiet muted) tartan! So, since it matched (and it was $3 at the thrift store) we HAD to buy it. Luckily I have pics! (unluckily, they're cell phone pics...)
Her sett is a little (read lot) smaller than mine, and the tartan is more muted, but I've looked, and it is a Royal Stewart.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

You both look great! Congrats on your new kilt and to your sister on her skirt.
I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature's ways of fang and claw or exposure and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow. - Fred Bear

Glad you like it. It was my husband's first real kilt (I made him one out of flannel for Christmas one year)

Young man, seeing you & your sister "KILTED UP" is GREAT.
It is a "neat" example of how the KILT can "bridge" & "bond"
