Its a glorious day here, so I have just charged up the batteries and decided to take Alpha for a spin down the fields ...

What is it they say? The difference between men and boys is the price of their toys.
I say, Amen to That!! Have a blast.

Cool toy Derek. How long of a flight time will a charge give you?

Highlander .... The Alpha is a Glider with a folding prop. You throttle up, launch off, and within 30 secs it gains a heck of a lot of height. Then you turn the throttle off and the prop folds in alongside the fuselage due to the wind resistance, and you just glide around ... the amps used to power the elevator, rudder etc when gliding is not a lot. You can stay up in the air for hours if you catch a thermal. When your height drops nearer the ground, you simple throttle up again and gain back all the height and start again. It can be difficult on occassions to get out of a thermal to bring the glider down ... it simply wants to keep going up. Its all good fun though.
