Good to be back!
Hi there!
I'm very happy right now because for the first time in months I can post!
After my computer decided to stop working properly I haven't been able to visit or post here in months. I've barely been able to answer PM's or read some threads when I got the oppertunity to log onto a computer at my local library but I only got about 15 minutes on that cumputer so I have alot of work to do to read all those new threads.
On to my kilting adventures.
As some of you know I got my first kilt in March when I got the most awesome package that I will ever get in my life, from Robin. I've been wearing the kilt ALOT for the last months and mayby some of you guys rember I even started a thread asking if I should where it to school. I wasn't so sure first but then I changed my mind and went for it! I thought that I would get alot of negative comments but when I think about it, I hardly got any! Almost every comment I got was very positive (BTW On that day there were 20 years since my school was established and there was this big celebration and ALL the kids parents were there) I got alot of stares but no one gave me a bad one. The photographer for the local newspaper was there and he took a photo of me .
I wore it alot after that and it's been a great hit and I'm more sure now than ever that this is a hobby that I will really enjoy for years to come. A day hasn't gone by that I dont think about how sweet it would be to have a Kollection of kilts and accessories:P. But that will all have to wait for a better time.
But now I have a question for you guys!
Only two weeks now until the most awesome festival of the decade and WHO'S GOING?

Hey Gunnar, welcome back!
I'm in California, which, as far as I know, is NOT having the "the most awesome festival of the decade" in two weeks. So... what festival are you talking about?

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

Welcome from Minnesota where all the women are strong, all the men are good-looking, and all the children are above average.

I'm OF COURSE referring to the Gathering in Edinburgh!
