    I raise a toast

Just thought I would raise a toast to all those better halfs of ours who have no issues whatsover with us guys wearing a Cilt/Kilt when and where we want to. We are for sure, one bunch of lucky men.
Be great if anyone else wants to add some pics too ..

My husband supports my kilt wearing. Several weeks ago he borrowed one of my kilts. Then last 2 weeks ago he went out and bought a new Stillwater kilt . Last week he asked to borrow matching hose (he ordered hose from another site and they were too small to fit over his calf). I somehow think this may have moved from support to competition. I still have more kilts than him -- but I better hurry up and order my alt.kilt just to make sure.
I wish I had something funny or profound to put in a signature.

Assume support. It's the solid bet.

For as much time as we may spend fiddling with our kilts and accessories to make sure everything is "just so", kilted gentlemen know that we cannot truly compete with our partners. The goal of all this fussing is not to accomplish the impossible of looking 'better than'. The goal is to look 'appropriate standing next to'.

When passers-by compliment a man in his kilt, they are not actually complimenting the man in his kilt. They are making the nod to his partner:

    "Your caveman cleans up nicely."

The gentleman is the frame to the lady's painting.
