New to forum and curious about the x-kilt
In my first post I said that I was making my first x-kilt. I have another question; When figuring the widths of the aprons on an x-kilt, how do you know how wide to make the parts that make up the aprons? For instance, I have a 40 inch rump and I want to make a kilt with eight 3" pleats. I would have to make the apron 16" wide right? How big do I want the under-apron and the under-apron pleat? Is there some kind of formula for this? I might have just missed it in the instruction.
