Yaaay!
The Enumclaw results booted me up to #13 overall in the 50 -59 class in North America.
*** does the booty wiggle ****
Monterey Games are on Sunday. We'll be throwing a 16 pound sheaf (Masters weight, instead of the 20'er we threw at Enumclaw), so hopefully I'll clear 2o, maybe 22 feet.
I popped out a couple of 45 foot throws in the light weight for distance, tonight, so with luck I'll do that. AND, even exhausted after 2 1/2 hours practice, I managed a couple of hammer tosses well over 75 feet, probably close to 80.
Open stone is still stuck at 27-28 feet. GRRR. And Heavy Weight for Distance is right around 26-27. The weak points continue to be weak points and stubbornly resist any improvement.

Congrats Alan those are great numbers, I can't wait to start training again it's so hard to get motivated after the move and being sick, it's been a long lay off. And I still haven't found anyone in SoCal to train with.

Make us proud on Sunday! John will be there throwing, I think in the Pro/Open class. I am not sure, haven't looked into Monterey.
