    new sgian dubh

    Hello, there,
just wanted to show to you my latest sgian dubh. Actually it´s not really the latest, but I made it between two larger knife projects, so it was almost forgotten. (I hope the link will work):

The link without the quotes took me to the page. I right clicked on the item and copied the image location into the pop-up box that appears when you click on the little image icon when posting.

Very nice work. Can we get a few more details: handle material, blade material, etc?

Nice!! I'm working on teaching myself to carve. I like that a lot.

Thanks a lot for your kind words and especially thanks to you, xman, for making the sgian visible. (I´m everything but a computer specialist).
Handle is ebony and the blade is forged from c60, hardened and tempered to 59 RC . I think, c60 correlates to 1060 in the US- sorry for being not that familiar with your classifications.
Blade length is 3,5´, total length 7´.
    Glad you like it

    Cheers from Germany
