Finally got some pics to share from OK
So I finally got some pics to share of my new kilt made by Rocky and USA Kilts. Given that Oklahoma is experiencing the coldest weather in 20 years I figured why not...
I'm not the best at posting pics from a photosharing site, so I hope this works.

and, of course, my version of a pleat shot...

Edit: Anyone able to explain how to have the pictures displayed here rather than just the links? Thanks.

Nice! Reminds me of the "terrible" snow storm we had in OK in the 80's when I went to OSU. I think we had a whole 2 inches of the white stuff

Are you a OSU Cowboy? Small world, I live in Edmond...but grew up near Flint, MI. We actually got over 12 inches, but it was light and blowing all over. Made shoveling a real pain in the butt.

Great photo, that storm just missed us. We have some frozen streets and a little snow.

I didn't really mind too much. We didn't loose power or anything and my work was closed yesterday AND today just to be safe and avoid unnecessary driving. Can't complain about a couple snow days

Maybe I should put my kilt tartan in for the tartan of the Month competition to see if anyone (other than Rocky of course) can actually identify it I think I'll let that answer hang for a bit...
That is one of their premier 8 yard "tank" kilts. It is my first from Rocky and my first kilt. You can count on there being more...I'm jonesing for a Navy Edzell tartan kilt just thinking about it.

I remember about 10 years back we had an awful ice storm (Beckham County), power was out for two or three days, mom and pops couldn't find enough blankets for all of us. We ended up sleeping in my grandad's work shed 5 blocks away (he had a wood burning stove)! It was me, brother, sister, mom and dad, and mom's parents staying in that shed for a night or two. Kinda made me appreciate my own bed when power came back!
But I love the kilt, I'd like to find out which tartan that is. I really like the dress tartans.
