    Please help make decision

Next Sat is our annual folk club coach trip to the Ludlow Food and Beer Festival. Ludlow is a lovely english town right on the welsh borders. I cannot make my mind up as to which cilt to wear. My Mcleod of Harris Ancient Hunting or my Welsh St Davids Tartan. Which one would you reckon.

    Thanks

Just found a photo from a gig we did a while back. I am lucky to have friends and a wife who neither care or take any notice whether I have trouxxxs on or cilts.

I've always thought that you look smashing in the St. Davids. It just seems to cry out for a beer adventure.

I have to say wear the red one, looks festive. Also, I remember a tradition about men wearing red kilts to festivals. That has red in it, which is my idea.

I say St. Davids. You wouldn't want the English(ptooey*) to mistake you for a Scot.

If your taking Welsh money to England, wear the St. David's....let them know who's helping keep their business flush for the day.

Having spent 10 years not too far from Ludlow, I suspect most people there will assume it's Scottish... might be a vote for the mcleod... on the other hand if you fancy edumecating everyone, the st david's does look nice...
