    Weaving WIP

Hello I mentioned a while back that I had requisitioned a loom with which I hoped to weave tartan cloth.

Well I have the yarns on the way and this is the design I made to begin with (I got the yarns in an Ebay deal and designed the pattern from what I was able to pick up.)

This might take a while but watch this space and we'll see how it turns out.

Which is funny, because the Franklin tartan was designed based on the colors of the yarn available, as well.

I wonder if that's why so many tartans look alike - what yarn was available.

I can't wait to see how it goes Gabriel! I really like that tartan too. Are you going to give it a name?
