MacMillan in Kansas
Hello,
I found this site a couple of days ago and have really enjoyed it. As someone that is looking to get their first kilt, this site has been a tremendous help.
Anyways, my name is Wiley Norman McMillan III. However, my nickname is Tripp, as in the third. In 1774, Malcom MacMillan came with his family to North Carolina on the USS Ulysses. They eventually moved to southern Georgia and every McMillan in my direct family line has been born in Georgia since. That is until my son, Brodhi Rowan McMillan, broke the trend and was born here in Kansas. Which, I think is pretty cool. Well, I just wanted to introduce myself and look forward to learning much more from all of you.

Welcome kinsman! And a bit of a heads up: our chief, George Macmillan of Macmillan and Knapp will be at this year's Grandfather Mountain Games. Hope to see you there!

Tripp: Welcome from the mountains of northern New Mexico! Hope you enjoy the site. I know you will learn a lot from it.
From what part of southern Georgia does your family hail? My wife and I spend at least a couple weeks every year in, and around, Valdosta. Her family comes from Jennings, Florida just over the border. Valdosta is the closest "big" town.
I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Eh up Tripp? Good to know you and a warm welcome from Lancashire, England.
Do us a favour? If you do get to the Grandfather Mountain Games (cummon, it's only 1,300 miles or there abouts), take lots of pictures. We like pictures on X Marks.
