    Barbara Tewksbury Owners Club

On February 1 I first made formal application to join the Barbara Tewksbury Owners Club (BTOC) by submitting a large piece of my family tartan that I acquired from another XMTS member. This was followed by further correspondence requesting various details of a rather personal matter and advising me of the membership entry fee and dues.

Apparently I met the membership criteria at that time and was then placed on the BTOC waiting list.

Last week I received an email advising me that the membership materials were in the hands of the United States Postal Service. Today the membership materials and uniform arrived and I am now proud to proclaim my membership in that august and select group, the Barbara Tewksbury Owners Club.

    The membership materials package:

The club uniform and membership card:

    And the pleats:

It's hanging right now, still have to take the basting stitches out. More photos to follow later. And for those who do not recognize the sett, it's MacRae ancient hunting.

Hopefully, my Jonesing will soon be over and I too will be a club member. I hope to be a proud owner of a Barb T. 8-yard kilt in the USAF PB tartan.

The kilt looks like masterpiece. We need some photos of kilt "hanging" on you.

Please Mark, post pics when it arrives. I am an AF vet and get frustrated with the lack of availability of this tartan compared to the other services. I had the unfortunate circumstance of being sold the wrong tartan with one, fortunately, less expensive kilt sold as one thing and received the Edzell.
Are you receiving it in 16 oz. weight?
