The Cala Inn (near Keystone/Frisco/Brekenridge) is hosting another Scotch pairing this weekend. Three courses, three well-chosen malts to accompany them. Not run-of-the mill pub food, either...the co-owner (Scott Pohlman) is a trained and highly skilled chef with an excellent palate. If you can't make this one, they usually do it several times a year, with one coinciding closely with Burns' Night. http://www.calainn.com
Would like to make it, we will be in Larkspur for the Ren Fest, will depend on what time we get out of there. Might try to make it up.

Unfortunately, since it is real food and a highly anticipated event, just dropping in on it won't do anything for you except let you sit at the bar, sip your favorite import or malt, and munch some fish and chips (and who could complain about that?!). The guest limit is about 20 and all the food is served at the same time (course by course, of course), so advance arrangements are always necessary. It's likely that they are already full up for Sat., so you should contact them to see if they have one scheduled yet for October or January.
Ahh, wasn't aware of that. May still try to make it if nothing else but to enjoy a dram and visit. Will check into future dates as well.
They will have to go on our list for either a birthday or anniversary dinner. Looks like a great menu.
