    Frugal corner

I have looked at other threads, but I have not seen a review of kilt quality from the Frugal Corner. Does anyone have any first hand dealings with these kilts?

    Thumbs up Re: Frugal corner

I just picked up two of Mark's heavyweight kilts, a Wallace and one of his newest tartans "New World Irish" I think is it's name. (It was designed by a gentleman who is a member here, I believe). His heavyweight kilts are about on the level with SWK, good hang and swish when walking, his lightweight kilts are great for Summer wear. I have always gotten my money's worth from Mark. I've seen him at several events (this past weekend at an event in VA by Kings Dominion) and have worked with him a lot by e-mail.
I had ordered a heavyweight kilt from him for a birthday party for a friend's wife (a good excuse to my wife to get a new kilt) and what I got was a light weight (11 oz) one. I contacted him and he said "Oops, sorry I thought it was a heavyweight, wear it to your party and I'll send you the correct one." Went to the party, the following week I got the correct heavyweight kilt from Mark and a note saying sorry for the mix up, please keep the lightweight kilt, no charge. (I had told him that I would return the kilt to him after the party). Mark stands behind his product and gives good customer service. Just my 0.02 worth.

    Re: Frugal corner

I just order the new world Irish heavyweight yesterday. I can't wait for it to come in. It's about time I added an Irish tartan to the collection. I'll have to post pics after I get it.
